Call For Papers - 2020 Fall Conference

The NLUUG is proud to announce the Fall conference 2020 on November 19th at 7 locations in the Netherlands which are online connected. We invite you to submit a proposal for a talk or workshop for our conference in the realms of Open Source and Open Standards.

We accept talks for any subject on open standards, open source, and other technical topics.

Some examples of talks we would like to see for this conference are:

  • Advanced networking, practical hacks and new networking technologies.
  • Handling bug submissions as open source software maintainer.
  • Practical privacy and protecting yourself against growing privacy hunger of businesses and government.
  • Monitoring, logging and event handling.
  • VPN and Tor networks for privacy protection: practical use, pros and cons.

Please prepare talks of 45 minutes. Talks can be given in Dutch or English. All submissions will be taken into consideration. If you feel you have a topic related to Open Source or Open Standards that is worth sharing, please let us know!

To submit a presentation for the conference, please send us the following information:

  • A title of your talk or workshop that will make your presentation stand out.
  • An abstract of the topic to be discussed in approximately 100 words.
  • A short biography of approximately 75 words, preferably with links to your social media profiles.
  • A photograph for inclusion in the conference program and for display on the NLUUG website.

Submissions can be directed to cfp.nluug.nl and are due before the Septembet 15th, 2020.
