Call For Papers - 2016 Fall Conference

The NLUUG is returning to Bunnik (NL) for the annual fall conference. We are pleased to issue this call for your contribution to the program.

We are looking forward to talks and workshops in the realms of Open Source and Open Standards. For this edition we are specifically interested in presentations regarding the following topics:

  • Updates on the latest iterations of the popular programming languages (Go 1.6, PHP 7, Perl 6, Python 3, etc.)
  • Modern (web) application development using Open Source and open methodologies
  • Continuous Integration (CI) and/or Configuration Management

The time available for the presentation is either 45 (regular talk) or 90 (workshop) minutes and it can be delivered either in Dutch or in English.

Aside from the core topics, we will take other topics into consideration as well. If you feel you have a topic related to Open Source that is worth sharing, please let us know!

To submit a presentation for the conference, please send us the following information:

  • The title of your talk or workshop
  • Abstract of the topic to be discussed (approx. 100 words)
  • Short biography (approx. 75 words; optionally with links to your social media profiles)
  • A photograph (optional; for inclusion in the conference program)

Submissions can be directed to pc-nj2016@nluug.nl and are due before the 5th of September 2016.
