Abstract

The Raspberry-Pi has made a major impact on computing in the last few years. Gert tells about the early days, how the Foundation operates and what it does with the proceeds. Example of the computer's use in education and the impact from having a cheap camera as well as some of his favourite applications of the tiny cheap computer are touched upon.

Biography

Gert van Loo is ASIC engineer working in the UK. He was involved in the Raspberry-Pi from from the beginning and has made various contributions to its design and development.
