The JFS Journaling File System for Linux

This lecture will be about the features, performance and capabilities of the new JFS journaling file system for Linux. I will compare it to reiserfs, XFS and ext3fs. Moshe Bar is Co-developer of JFS File System for Linux together with IBM Journalist for Linux-related topics at www.byte.com, Linux Journal,Unix World and others.
He has a Ph.D. in computer science and is project manager of www.kha0s.org secure Linux project. Moshe has 17 years of Unix experience and is Co-developer of hercules emulator for S/370 S/390 and Project Manager of SpeakMail, a Linux software for motoric disabled people.
Author of Linux Kernel Internals, Linux Clusters and Linux File Systems. 17 years of Unix experience.
