An overview of cryptography in the real world

Cryptography is an essential component of digital security systems, but it is often misunderstood. We will discuss the things that cryptography can do, and, often overlooked, what it can't do. We'll look at what is required to support a cryptographic function, the features it can provide to a product, and the most common pitfalls in real-world implementations.
