Abstract

This presentation gives an overview of Solaris 11 --the features and technologies it provides. Further, we will look closer into the design process of new features, to make them work together in a common architecture, to allow innovative solutions in a multitude of areas.

Biography

Jörg is Principal Sales Consulation at Oracle. One of his primary topics is Oracle Solaris. Out of personal interest, he started the the blog c0t0d0s0.org, which eventually became the Solaris blog with the largest audience. He joined Oracle due to the acquistion of Sun. At Sun he was a Principal Field Technologist and Sales Engineer.
